Oktibbeha County Fire Association

The Oktibbeha County Fire Association, created in 2004, is comprised of the member fire departments of Oktibbeha County. It is the successor to the Oktibbeha County Fire Commission, created in 1994. The Fire Association exists to enhance the fire protection and emergency services in rural Oktibbeha County.

The association is composed of two representatives of each fire department serving the rural part of the county. The representatives are generally the fire chief and the president of the board of directors.

The association meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Central Oktibbeha F.D. station in Longview. Meetings are open to the public, but space is very limited.
